There is no deposit to secure your booking. We use Paypal as our secure payment gateway. If you would like to pay when booking, please complete using PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account. Otherwise, we accept payment in full in cash or credit card on arrival.
Upon arrival at Tree Tops, please register and pay in full for your tour program if you did not pay online. We accept cash, Visa, and Mastercard.
We understand plans can change when organizing your holiday. If you wish to change the day of your visit, please contact our office. We will do our very best to re-book on your preferred date. We do not charge additional re-booking fees.
We do not close during monsoon season. Elephants love the rain and the cooler temperatures. It’s a fun day out walking around the sanctuary and seeing elephants play in the mud. We only close in emergency situations.
We will refund the deposit up to 3 days (72 hours) prior to the date of your tour as this gives enough time for other visitors to take your place. Please contact us directly to issue the refund.
Should you wish to be dropped off at a different location than where you were picked up, please notify us when making your booking. However, charges may be applicable dependent on location and availability.

We are open Monday to Saturday. Closed on Sundays.
Our Morning program is from 9.30am – 1.30pm.
Our Afternoon program is from 1.30pm – 5.30pm.
Yes, our tours are planned to cover all aspects of the sanctuary, led by a qualified team member. If you arrive late you may delay the tour, meaning we do not cover all of the sanctuary’s operations, or you may miss the tour completely. We appreciate that factors beyond your control may delay you and will wait for 10 minutes for any booked visitors before starting each tour. We recommend, however, that you aim to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time, to avoid such problems.

*There are additional transfer fees for Mai Khao, Nai Yang, Nai Thon, and Ao Po Pier
Pick-ups from Mai Khao, Nai Yang and Nai Thon incur additional round trip fees of 500 Baht per adult and 250 Baht per child.
Pick-ups from Ao Po Pier incur additional round trip fees of 2,000 Baht per van.

Absolutely! It is so important for the next generation to enjoy seeing elephants in their natural habitat. Children of all ages are welcome, including newborns.
At any time, you may leave our walking tour and sit at our beautiful Tree Tops Lodge and enjoy the stunning surroundings. It is difficult to navigate the land with a pram or stroller so we advise to leave at our reception.
Sorry, we don’t allow guests to get in the water or mud and bathe with elephants as it is dangerous, unhygienic, and elephants do not like crowds of people surrounding them. Please read our section ‘Why We Don’t Offer Bathing with Elephants’ for more information.

We provide complimentary tea and coffee. We are plastic free so please bring refill water bottles with you as there are water refill stations throughout the tour. We provide a delicious Thai vegetarian buffet for our morning and afternoon tour programs. If you have specific dietary requirements, please let us know when you book.
We highly recommend that you arrange travel insurance prior to leaving your home country. This ensures you are covered in any eventuality as it can be very expensive when traveling abroad, should you have an accident and need emergency hospitalization. During your visit to Tree Tops, we provide full on-site insurance for all our visitors.
Yes, it does! Please check online for the weather report for the dates you are visiting Phuket. Our tours are open all year round. If it is very hot, we provide umbrellas for shade and chilled purified water is also provided throughout your tour. Please remember to bring a hat and sunscreen.
Unfortunately not. Drones scare our elephants therefore they are strictly prohibited.
